Foot orthotics, or insoles/inlays, are devices designed to restore your natural foot function or alleviate foot pain. They can also help decrease knee and hip pain that may be caused through joint instability and poor foot function.
Insoles or inlays may be prescribed for a number of different conditions:
Decreasing the level of deformity in the rheumatoid foot
Controlling abnormal foot position
We utilise state-of-the-art scanning technology to provide you with the highest quality foot orthotics by capturing 3D images of the feet when placed in a corrective position by the clinician. An exact representation of the plantar surface of the foot is captured and saved on file. The precise 3D foot scan means that all our clients receive an accurate orthotic which fits comfortably first time.
We manufacture and fit insoles for:
Sport activities, running, indoor and outdoor activities
Extra comfort, pressure relief, support and shock absorption
Optimising a correct posture
Supportive insoles can assist you in achieving an efficient walking or running pattern, meaning you use less energy and obtain more comfort. For athletes, this can result in successful sporting performance. We supply either standard, modular, or bespoke orthotics depending on each individual’s needs.
Corrective insoles can aid in normalising biomechanical alignment of the lower limbs by improving foot function. Without these, foot imbalances such as supination (high arches) and pronation (fallen arches) can affect the ankles, knees, hips or back, and cause micro tears to the soft tissue structure, resulting in pain during walking or running.
